It's Time for Transparency in Government
I believe that elected officials are servants of the community that elected them. To that end, details of government activities should be readily available to community review and scrutiny. No one should ever feel that they do not have access to these activities unless data privacy protection is required by statute.
Serving the Community
Informed and Engaged
Jaci has a deep love for northern Minnesota and all it has to offer, and a heart for its people and their well-being. She cares about protecting our homes, natural resources and human rights, as well as seeking ways to ensure good jobs and resources necessary to support a good standard of living for all people. She served the community in various capacities in her employment with Koochiching County and as a volunteer in organizations and efforts. Serving as a County Commissioner leverages and builds on her past service.
Proactive and Thorough
When Jaci sees a problem, she seeks to do something about it rather than let it grow, tenaciously going after it until it is successfully resolved. She's not afraid of hard work and always comes prepared for a discussion or task having done all the necessary homework to be knowledgeable and ready to proceed. Jaci is resourceful and able to find the expert information and/or data needed to make informed decisions., and eagerly seeks to share information with others and to listen to their opinions.
